Volvo Penta Aquamatic Sterndrive D6-DPI is a totally integrated package, powered by the in-line 6-cylinder, 5.5-liter, common-rail diesel engine with double overhead camshafts, turbo, and supercharger. Working together with the perfectly matched DPI DuoProp, the package offers exceptional diesel performance combined with low emissions.

Engine block and head
- Cylinder block and cylinder head made of cast iron
- Ladder frame fitted to engine block
- 4-valve technology with hydraulic lash adjusters
- Double overhead camshafts
- Oil-cooled pistons with two compression rings and one oil scraper ring
- Integrated cylinder liners
- Seven bearing crankshaft
- Rear end camshaft transmission

Engine mounting
- Flexible engine mounting

Lubrication system
- Replaceable separate full-flow and by-pass oil filter
- Seawater cooled tubular oil cooler
- Oil level and oil temperature sensors
- Crankcase oil separator, maintenance free unit

Fuel system
- Common rail injection system, 2000 bar

- Fuel pressure sensor that indicates clogging in fuel filters

    I have to say I am impressed with the quality of this product all around. The engine packaged had no damage and everything inside was damage free too. For the price it is worth the quality of the engine. I'm very happy with this product.
